dbrRenderTool (Linear Workflow)


A utility created to help maintain a Linear workflow rendering with Mental Ray.
Pulls textures and material color/outcolor/diffuse down to 0.454 gamma using mip_gamma_gain nodes.
Toggles gamma 2.2 on all perspective cameras in a scene via mia_exposure_simple.



Instructions:

1. Load Textures or Materials into the textScrollList using the buttons all textures or all materials.
2. Select materials and textures you would like to gamma correct.
3. Press selected materials or selected textures under Gamma Correct to pull down texture and material colors down to 0.454 gamma.

OPTIONAL: Press Toggle Gamma 2.2 to bump gamma on all perspective cameras to 2.2. This allows for a preview of final output from a compositing program.

4. Batch Render. (Toggle Gamma 2.2 off before batch rendering)
